Who we work with

We work in a range of ways with many partner organisations spanning the Telecare, Housing, Health and Community sectors.

Telecare Industry Partners

We are a fully accredited member of the TSA (Telecare Services Association) - the representative body for the telecare and telehealth industry within the UK. This ensures we meet their Code of Practice around the standard and quality of the service we provide. Our telecare alarm units and sensors are supplied by Tunstall and Chubb - market leaders in the provision of telecare equipment solutions.

We work with Jontek Ltd to provide our alarm response system. This ensures that a first class service is maintained, giving peace of mind that when the service is needed, it is reliable, timely and professional.

Supra and Master Lock supply all our key safes. These are invaluable for reducing the need for forced entry in an emergency as the result of an alarm call.

Housing

Many of our customers live in properties owned by Residential Social Landlords (RSLs) such as Liverpool Mutual Homes, Liverpool Housing Trust, South Liverpool Housing, Cobalt, Venture, Riverside and more.

We also deal directly with the City Council's 'Supporting People' team and their telecare unit.

A number of Merseyside's RSLs, have a pot of money called 'Supporting People Grant' which can pay for a telecare alarm service for their residents, but this is by an application process and is passed at the RSLs' discretion based on predetermined criteria.

We are happy to liaise with RSLs on a resident's behalf to determine whether the RSL will be able to pay for the lifeline service. If you are a resident or RSL and would like to know more, please contact Lynn Quinn on 0151 482 2542.

Health Sector

We regularly deliver presentations about the Lifeline service to teams of health professionals around Merseyside including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, District Nurses, Community Matrons, Champion Network Meetings and more.

We also present at support groups, host information stands in hospital foyers and provide leaflets and posters materials to health professionals, health centres, GP practices and so on. We have permanent information stands in both the Royal and Broadgreen hospitals and are currently advertising on the screens in the Walk-In Centres in Liverpool.

In the Community

Much of our time is spent out and about in the community promoting and demonstrating the Lifeline service to people who would really benefit from it. You will often see us as community health events, pensioners clubs, bingo clubs, luncheon clubs or tea dances, in supermarket foyers and in shopping centres, talking to people about Lifeline and answering their questions.

We also are happy to mutually signpost our customers to services that are relevant to them, such as specialist health and wellbeing services, welfare services, domicilary care services and so on.
