Telecare is the use of technology to help maintain independent living.

The simplest, and most popular form of telecare is a Remote Alarm.

This consists of a small base unit, connected to a telephone line and a pendant that you wear around your neck or wrist. You can use either to summon help whilst in your home or garden. The base unit automatically dials our contact centre and allows our staff to arrange help at any time, day or night.

There are now a wide range of different sensors that can be linked wirelessly to a remote alarm system to provide added security, to monitor your environment for your safety or simply provide help with life's challenges.
