We use only equipment that complies with industry standards but can choose what we believe is the best option for different situations.
The Basic System

The Central Unit |
The Central Unit is about the size of an answering machine. It plugs into the electricity supply and a telephone line. It links you to our operators when you need help. |
The Pendant |
The pendant comes in a range of styles and is normally worn around your neck or wrist. If help is needed, pressing the button causes the base unit to dial our control centre. The pendant will normally provide sufficient range to work anywhere in your house or garden. |
Additional Sensors
There is now a wide range of sensors that can be added, based on your circumstances, to provide additional peace of mind. Most of these work wirelessly, providing flexibility without the need for unsightly cables.
The sensors and devices fall into the following categories:
- Security - designed to protect you and your property from unwanted intruders.
- Environment - designed to monitor the environment and protect you from harmful situations.
- Lifestyle - a variety of sensors and devices to help with specific issues you may face.
- Adaptations - additional equipment that will enhance our Telecare service to provide greater flexibility of care or to overcome the challenges caused by some disabilities.
