CountyCall fully operational on County Road – and already proves invaluable!

3 people on County RoadCounty Call – the new pilot project aimed at making the busy shopping street in North Liverpool a safer place to work and shop, was officially launched last Thursday at thePatisserie. Councillors, Merseyside Police, retailers, operators from Lifeline and other partners were all at the launch. (Pictures below)

CountyCall has already proven its worth when at attempted burglary took place in one of the retail units during the weekend.

The discreet SOS alarm button was activated by a member of staff just before 9pm as they were closing the premises. The alert came through to our Control Centre and police were on the scene within 5 minutes. The female member of staff expressed how grateful they were for the Lifeline alarm having provided such swift assistance.
