What does it cost?
The Lifeline alarm service costs £2.99 per week, with a one-off installation cost of £25 which is excellent value for money.
If you live in your own, private property, there are two options available:
- Option 1 - Lifeline provide the equipment (rented to you) and the monitoring. The weekly cost is £2.99 a week (or £11.96 a month) - that is less than 50p per day!
- Option 2 - You can choose to buy the equipment (£120 for a remote alarm system) and pay a reduced monitoring fee of £2.15 a week, or £8.62 per month.
However, there are circumstances in which people living in Registered Social Landlord (RSL) properties may be entitled to the Community Alarm service free-of-charge through the 'Supporting People' grant. In this instance, please call us and we will enquire on your behalf to your RSL as to whether you can have the Lifeline installed free-of charge.
