VNC Lifeline is one of the biggest providers of telecare to over 4,000 adults in the Northwest area and beyond. With almost 20 years' experience in delivering an emergency alarm service, customers can be assured of a first class service.
Our team of dedicated staff are at the end of the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and on a daily basis provide the assistance which has quite literally saved the lives of many customers. We are a caring service and place an extremely high value on the well being of all our customers.
We are a not-for-profit Social Enterprise and we work in partnership with the Emergency Services, NHS, Resident Social Landlords, carers and customers' family and friends to ensure that this vital service can be accessed around the clock.
In October 2011, VNC Lifeline won the contract to deliver Cumbria County Council’s telecare service – a substantial geographical expansion to the service. We employ three remote installer/assessors in the Cumbria region and deliver the telecare service to both Council and private residents.
We are TSA accredited which means we are approved by the telecare industry regulators to ensure we meet all the necessary standards to be able to operate the Lifeline service. See our TSA Key Performance Indicator Achievement Record 2010/11 here.
